Following the release of a wired edition designed for Xbox consoles, 8BitDo has today revealed their new line of Ultimate Edition controllers for Switch PC, and pre-orders are open today.
The controller, which looks very much like a blend of the Switch Pro Controller and the standard Xbox pad, will come in three different models — Bluetooth, 2.4g, and Wired USB — with only Bluetooth and Wired compatible with the Switch. The first two options come with a wireless charging dock, and all three versions will be available in white or black. The non-switch-compatible 2.4g variant also comes in a rather lovely soft pink colour — we want that for our Switch!
Some of the standout features on the Bluetooth edition include two Pro back paddle buttons which can be programmed to your liking and a custom profile switch button with the possibility to add up to three different set-ups for fast button command changes. The wired option offers the same features as well as trigger vibration and an enhanced grip.
You can pre-order all three new models — Bluetooth, Wired, and 2.4g — of the controllers now from Amazon in the US. They’re currently due to be released on October 28th.
