Best Player in the World? Giannis continues to dominate the Celtics; Bucks go 2-1 up in the series
Giannis Antetokounmpo dropped 42 points, as the Milwaukee Bucks edge out game 3 against the Boston Celtics.
The Milwaukee Bucks edged out the Boston Celtics in Game 3 of their ongoing series in the Eastern Conference Playoffs. The defending champions won by a score of 103-101.
Giannis continued to show his dominance as he was the star of the night in this game. The reigning Finals MVP ended up with 42 points, 12 rebounds, and 8 assists to cap off a sensational performance.
In the absence of Khris Middleton, the Greek Freak has carried his team quite well and will hope to continue doing that. Another player who stepped up big time was Jrue Holiday.
Normally known for his great defense during the playoffs, Jrue contributed with a massive total of 25 points, as the Bucks’ advantage in the series remained intact. Milwaukee would love to replicate this in Game 4 as well, to go 3-1 up in the series.
Jayson Tatum had a shocking game against Giannis and the Bucks
Jayson Tatum who had been sensational throughout the playoffs had an off night in game 3. He was able to score just 10 points, as he got completely dominated by Giannis.
However, Jaylen Brown stepped up and scored 27 points, but that was not enough for the Celtics to win the game. Even though Tatum had an off night, The Celtics kept the game pretty close and that would motivate them to win the next game and level up the series.
