Luke Bell went missing in Tucson, Arizona when he was collaborating with Kinman for shows and live streams. He suffered from bipolar disease and his mental condition had been deteriorating lately.
Kinman stated that Bell ran somewhere off when he went to find something to eat. “We came down here to Arizona, to work down here, play some music, and he just took off. He was in the back of the truck,” he said in a statement.
“I went in to get something to eat. I came out, and he’d got out of the truck and left,” he added.
Kinman and Bell had been working together for nearly six years. After Bell went missing, Kinman speculated, “He could be in Tucson. But it’s possible he jumped a freight train.” He further revealed that Bell was semi-homeless and generally adrift.

Around 10 days later, Luke Bell has been found dead near the same place where he went missing on August 29. The Tucson Police Department confirmed to multiple news outlets that a man found dead in the area has been identified as Luke Bell, the renowned country music star.
Neither Tucson police nor Bell’s representatives immediately revealed the specific cause of his death. His body has been sent for autopsy by the Pima County Medical Examiner. We are awaiting the results and will share further details soon.

Luke Bell was born on January 27, 1990, in Cody, Wyoming. He attended the University of Wyoming and decided he wanted to pursue a music career while still in college. He left the university and traveled to New Orleans and Nashville for music
He started his career in Austin, Texas, with a number of gigs in the Lone Star State’s Capital. In 2012, he self-published his debut album and then released “Don’t Mind If I Do” in 2014. His addictive tracks made him an instant hit and sensation among country music fans.
In 2016, Bell signed a record deal with Thirty Tigers. He released “An Eponymous Disc” in the same year. The country singer was known for collaborating with Price, Alabama Shakes, and Langhorne Slim. He also played support slots for Willie Nelson and Dwight Yoakam.
Bell performed at the Stagecoach Country Music Festival in Indio, California in 2016. His final track was an acoustic cover of John Lennon’s “Jealous Guy.” It was launched in 2021.

Country musician Jamie Wyatt also remembered Bell in an emotional post.
“I wasn’t as close with him as lots of people who are hurting right now, but we loved each other’s music and would visit whenever we saw each other and meet up in Nashville,” she wrote in a Facebook post on Tuesday. “He used to call occasionally and we’d talk about life. I’ll never forget those conversations. My heart goes out to his family,” Wyatt added.
