The new Call of Duty Warzone season 5 update brings in some fresh content for the players. Some of the big additions include new Operators, Volcanic POI Expansion, new items in-game, Heroes vs. Villains Seasonal Event, new weapons and more.

While there were tons of new things in the update, the new items section caught our attention. Activision has included some interesting items like The Doomsday Station, Supply Box UAV, Personal Supply Box and Rage Serum. The effects of items on the gameplay is significant and we will take a closer look at Rage Serum and speculate its effect on melee attacks.

The Rage Serum item has some captivating effects on the Operator. Once you administer the serum, it instantly grants you increased movement speed, melee damage, melee lunge distance, and melee stun power. While it’s not officially named as Charged Melee, it sure looks like a charged version of a regular melee attack. The increase in melee lunge distance and melee stun power is fascinating.

There are some drawbacks to using Rage Serum for Charged Melee attacks. Your operator will emit louder footsteps, and both stun and flash grenades will have a much higher impact on him.

So there you have it. Using the Rage Serum activates Charged Melee attacks. Keep in mind that these terms are speculative, but are based on facts and official patch notes of the Call of Duty Warzone update.
