The two fan favorites went on to successfully defended their titles against the teams of Liv Morgan-Rhea Ripley and Natalya-Shayna Baszler.

Sasha Banks and Naomi were scheduled to compete in a six-pack challenge to determine the No. 1 contender for Bianca Belair’s Raw Women’s Championship. However, the Boss was not happy with the creative direction planned for the match.

WWE released a statement where they expressed their regret to the WWE fans for not being able to deliver a scheduled match. The Statement revealed that Sasha Banks and Naomi entered the Head of Talent Relations, John Laurinaitis’ office, and kept their titles on his table before leaving the building.

Michael Cole announced on this week’s episode of SmackDown that Banks and Naomi let down the WWE Universe. He revealed that WWE has suspended them indefinitely post their conduct. To make matters worse for the two veterans, Cole informed that they will no longer remain the Women’s Tag Team Champions. A tournament will be held to crown the new champions.
