Grantchester
The 1950s Cambridgeshire village of Grantchester serves as the setting for the British ITV detective drama Grantchester. It is a series based on James Runcie’s collection of short stories, The Grantchester Mysteries. The first season’s plot was based on six short stories from the first book, Sidney Chambers and the Shadow of Death, and was shown in 2014. The successful detective drama series’ seventh season was released after great anticipation. The pair will have plenty of killings and mayhem to look into throughout the season.
